ExecuJet MRO Services Commits to PROJECT AIR RANGER
Rhino and Threatened Species Protection Programme
In support of the preservation and protection of our fragile wildlife resources in Africa, ExecuJet MRO Services is donating funds to SPOTS (Strategic Protection of Threatened Species), a non-profit conservation company, in support of Project Air Ranger.
SPOTS has developed arguably the best anti-poaching UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) whose aerial reconnaissance capability brings huge advantage to anti-poaching operations and plays a definite role in reducing life threatening risk to ranger and reserve staff. Major success has been experienced at various reserves in South Africa, Namibia, Mozambique and Tanzania. One “Air Ranger,” has been said to do the work of 40 human rangers.
Vince Goncalves, ExecuJet VP MRO Services Africa comments, “It was close to our hearts to contribute to the conservation and further protection of these amazing creatures. It is going to take all of us to win this battle, and ExecuJet MRO Services is dedicated to help make a difference.”
