ExecuJet MRO Services Middle East Is Promoting Its New MRO Facility During MEBAA Show
ExecuJet MRO Services , a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dassault Aviation, will be promoting its new purpose-built MRO facility during the MEBAA business aviation show to be held at Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) on December 6-8.
“Official opening of the new MRO facility will be in next year’s first quarter. ExecuJet – which has been serving Dubai, the region and customers around the world for more than 20 years – continues to be based at Dubai International Airport (DXB), but will relocate in early 2023 to the new facility at Al Maktoum International Airport,” says Nick Weber, Regional VP Middle East at ExecuJet MRO Services.
The new MRO facility can house 18-24 business jets simultaneously and has been sized to handle the very largest business jets, including the Falcon 6X and Falcon 10X, as well as large jets from other OEMs.
“We have been preparing for entry into service of the Falcon 6X, with tooling and spare parts already identified and on their way. Arrangements have been made to initially send four engineers to Dassault Aviation, for Falcon 6X maintenance training in advance of expected Falcon 6X entry into service mid 2023. Our MRO facility will be an important centre outside of Europe and North America for support of the Falcon 6X and 10X,” says Weber, adding that it will have the capability to do line through heavier base maintenance checks on these long-range, large-cabin Dassault Falcon business jets.
The new 15,000m2 (163,000ft2) MRO facility includes a hangar as well as adjacent workshops and offices. The facility will also become ExecuJet’s new regional headquarters in Dubai while the company will still retain AOG capability at Dubai International Airport (DXB).
ExecuJet MRO Services is a factory service centre for all in-production Dassault Falcon aircraft. It also provides line and base maintenance for Bombardier, Embraer Executive Jets and nearly all types of Hawker business jets.
