ExecuJet Haite welcomes AsBAA to Tianjin
ExecuJet Haite recently welcomed various members of the Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) to its state-of-the-art hangar facility in Tianjin, China. The daylong event, which coincided with the Tianjin Helicopter Exhibition and Conference, was held on October 9thand included a student AsBAA Discovery Session, a site tour of the hangar and offices along with inspection of several aircraft under maintenance including explanations of ExecuJet Haite’s industry-leading practices and procedures throughout various departments, and a general business meeting.
AsBAA Discovery (student and careers chapter) is an initiative run by volunteers and AsBAA members in partnership with educational institutions in Asia. AsBAA Discovery educates young people on careers in business and general aviation in order to protect the industry’s future talent stream. ExecuJet hosted AsBAA participants and more than 25 students of the prestigious Civil Aviation University of China to introduce both AsBAA and business aviation in a full morning-long session with a site tour that followed various presentations.
In the afternoon China chapter meeting, more than 60 members of AsBAA were given expert presentations on US-China Trade and US Visa briefing by Mr. Adam Stevens of the United States Embassy, detailed information regarding Daxing New Airport FBO by Mr. Jin Yongfa, Deputy Director General, General Aviation Association, FBO Efficiency and Action Plan delivered by Ms. Cynthia Zhang, BoG of AsBAA, Universal Weather, and the beneficial partnership between OEMs and MROs by Mr. Jérôme Desmazures of Dassault Falcon Jet.
The afternoon’s event concluded with a Ritz Carlton catered reception and networking event sponsored by ExecuJet Haite allowing the attendees to communicate and share information across the many businesses AsBAA members represent.
