{"id":7491,"date":"2025-03-28T14:13:37","date_gmt":"2025-03-28T14:13:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.execujet-mro.com\/?p=7491"},"modified":"2025-03-28T14:13:37","modified_gmt":"2025-03-28T14:13:37","slug":"execujet-mro-services-malaysia-installs-rooftop-solar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.execujet-mro.com\/zh\/2025\/03\/28\/execujet-mro-services-malaysia-installs-rooftop-solar\/","title":{"rendered":"ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia Installs Rooftop Solar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia has installed a 72kW rooftop solar system at its purpose-built MRO facility at Subang Airport and plans to have a second installation that will increase total capacity to 497kW.<\/p>\n<p>The 72kW project is significant because it is the first airside rooftop solar installation at Subang Airport and the solar panels were approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM).<\/p>\n<p>The panels are tempered with an anti-reflection coating to prevent glare and the solar PV system uses 118 pieces of 610W N-type monofacial panels to produce 84,000kWh electricity annually.<\/p>\n<p>Each panel weighs 27kg but because the company\u2019s Malaysian facility was purpose-built, it had taken the solar installation into account when designing the roof\u2019s loading.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe solar system once fully completed, is expected to offset, \u00a0on average, about 50% of our total electricity consumption. This initiative is part of ExecuJet MRO Services Group\u2019s low carbon strategy, being one of the key pillars to our broader sustainability agenda,\u201d says Ivan Lim, Regional VP Asia, ExecuJet MRO Services.<\/p>\n<p>The 72kW solar installation covers a section of the roof on ExecuJet\u2019s 149,500ft<sup>2 \u00a0<\/sup>facility.
