The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has certified ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia to provide line and heavy maintenance on Bombardier and Gulfstream aircraft.<\/p>\n
The approval covers Gulfstream GIV and variants of the Bombardier Challenger and Bombardier Globe Express series aircraft.<\/p>\n
Vice President ExecuJet MRO Services Asia, Ivan Lim, says: \u201cThis approval by CAAC is significant, because it means ExecuJet\u2019s maintenance facility at Subang Airport, near Kuala Lumpur, is permitted to do heavy and line maintenance on these aircraft registered in China.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHaving access to China\u2019s business aviation market, which is the biggest in the region, opens up new opportunities for ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia to continue to grow and expand its business.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cExecuJet applied for the approvals from CAAC in response to demand from operators in China,\u201d says Lim, adding that Malaysia has a strong reputation internationally for maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO).<\/p>\n
\u201cThis approval from CAAC further reinforces Malaysia\u2019s position in the market as a leading centre for business aviation MRO in the region,\u201d he adds.<\/p>\n
ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia is a full-service, business jet maintenance facility. It is\u00a0an Authorized Service Facility for Bombardier and\u00a0a limited Authorized Warranty Facility for\u00a0Gulfstream. It also represents some other major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) as Authorized Service Centre or Dealer such as: General Electric and Rolls-Royce, on multiple engine types; Honeywell\u00a0on engines, auxiliary power units and avionics; and Collins Aerospace on avionics.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
