ExecuJet MRO Services is currently seeking a suitably qualified person to fill a vacancy based in Dubai. The main objective of the position is to lead and manage the day to day functions of the Human Resources Department.
Provide regional strategic HR direction to the MANCO team and provide day-to-day operational HR support and guidance to line managers and staff.
Attend management meetings for updates within the various business units.
Manage the HR induction for all new employees and exit process for leavers.
Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees in the interpretation of HR policies and the UAE Labour Law.
Implement and periodically update the regional HR Policies and Procedures and HR policies and procedures.
Ensure contracts of employment, changes in terms, increase letters, warnings, termination letters etc. for staff are prepared as and when required.
Assist line managers with the recruitment and selection of the best candidates to fill all approved vacancies and work when necessary with recruitment agencies for suitably qualified and experienced external applicants.
Process monthly payroll, ensuring that all staff are paid on or before the last working day of the month including Overtime reports.
Administer HR software and liaise with supplier for system enhancements as required in order to fulfil business needs.
Ensure that all staff have comprehensive and up to date job descriptions.
Guide and assist Line Managers in the appropriate handling of performance-related issues including disciplinary hearings and grievances.
Manage and implement ad-hoc projects and HR initiatives.
Assist line managers with identifying suitable training courses to address development needs of their staff (non-aircraft related training such as leadership development, supervisory skills, MS Office etc.)
Oversee the Drug and Alcohol program for safety sensitive staff, ensuring we remain compliant with GCAA regulations.
Ensure the employee handbook is kept up to date.
Ensure that performance appraisals and probation reviews are carried out by the respective managers.
Administer housing advance and other staff loan deduction agreements.
Coordinate with the company PRO’s to ensure all staff visas are processed and renewed timeously.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University
Minimum 6 - 8 years of HR Management experience, Experience working in a generalist HR department ideally as a HR Manager
Aviation background experience
Experience in a medium size organization, ideally multi-national background
Advanced knowledge of Payroll
Ability to create, review and revise policies and procedures
Awareness of the UAE labour law and legal compliance
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Fluent in English
